Port Your Existing Number into AgriSync
Port An Existing Number into AgriSync
If you have an existing number you'd like to use with AgriSync to track and manage calls, you're welcome to port that phone number with the following steps. This allows your customers to call/text your existing number while routing communication through AgriSync.
Note: Not all numbers are eligible to be ported. We'll confirm the portability of your number as part of this process. In addition, numbers must be capable of sending and receiving text messages to be ported into AgriSync.
The porting process usually takes 1-2 weeks depending on how long it takes to receive approval from your current provider.
Once your port request is approved, a date will be selected for the official porting. The number will stay active with your current provider until the scheduled date. There may be a 1-2 hour outage while the number is ported to AgriSync. Once the port is complete, the number will appear in your AgriSync account and calls will be routed through AgriSync.
If your phone number is a Google Voice number, please follow the instructions to port your Google Voice number.
For all other carriers, please follow the steps below:
1. Submit a Port-In Request to AgriSync
To port a number to AgriSync, start by submitting a VoiceHub Port-in Request. Keep in mind not all numbers are eligible to be ported. Once the form is submitted, we'll confirm the portability of your number. In addition, numbers must be capable of sending and receiving text messages to be ported into AgriSync.
2. We'll confirm a date to port your number
Once your port request is approved, we'll work together to establish a date to port your number. There may be a 1-2 hour outage while the number is ported to AgriSync.
3. Calls will be routed through AgriSync
Once the port is complete, the ported number will appear in your AgriSync account and calls will be routed through AgriSync. 🎉
